Hes 4 and tall(41.5 inches) but that shouldnt matter in the fact hes lost weight? Anyway were gping to the drs today & this summer i addressed the fact he hadnt gained any weight since the previous winter and they had no concerns and im afraid they will say the same...would you be concerned?

No it could be fine. They stretch out and change a lot. I have one who did not change weight for maybe three years but just kept getting taller.

If he's eating and progressing normally, I wouldn't be worried.

My sons weight fluctuates all the time he might gain a whole bunch then grow and be back at what he was before he grew or even less then he chunks up again and grows i think that's pretty normal for some kids

My 6 1/2 yr old is 35 lbs lol. She's also 42 inches tall...so no, I wouldnt be concerned that a 4 yr old was that size.

If it isn't significant weight loss, I wouldn't be too worried. Sometimes kids just don't gain weight over a year, that is alright as long as they aren't losing large amounts. He is a healthy weight for his height.
