Someone stole ours a few days ago. We don't have money to replace one this week. temps are suppose to drop for a few days this week. We can keep the dog inside at night but during the day we wont be home so he needs somewhere to stay. We dont have a garage or shed or any kind of building he could stay in. Any ideas/tips??

I'd leave him inside.

Leave him in the house.  Especially if it is cold - he should be inside anyway (even if you still had a dog house).

I'd say your best bet is to leave him inside and confined to one room preferably with easy to clean floors maybe the kitchen with a baby gate? Take him out before you leave to potty then back in. If you have someone that can stop by mid day to let him out again even better.

Call your local shelter , sometimes they have free doghouses when it gets cold, then fill it full of bedding straw. Or a kennel inside so they don't have free reign all day , which would definitely be preferable.

Dog proof a room and leave him inside.
