After many many months of waiting, we finally found out that DH's job is taking us to Statesboro, GA.  I have 3 kids and I am looking into the surrounding towns for some info and rentals.  Any suggestions, advice, etc?  Any and all information is appreciated.  Thoughts on the town of Brooklet?

No idea about that area. We're in Middle GA, just south of Macon. Here's a bump though!

Statesboro is the home of Georgia Southern University, so it's a college town. It has a population of less than 30K. That is about all I know.

We live in the small town of Ellabell which is about 30 minutes outside of statesboro.

We are centrally located and are about a half hour from Southside Savannah, downtown Savannah, statesboro and pooler.

Eta: I have only been to brooklet once.

It's a big college town and not super family friendly. They do have a cool water park though. I haven't spent much time there, we mainly go to the Savannah area and the beach. We have only lived here two years.
