Seriously? And you're the boss?

I work in childcare. I am still new to the place but past my probationary period. The assistant director was in my room today, but as soon as I left the room for my break she started talking to the other teacher for the room about me. It was about conversations I had with the director about how the other teacher takes longer for her break than she is supposed to and the fact that she will not talk to me. But the way the assistant director was talking to her was not in a boss/employee manner or even like a mentor. They were gossiping and the other teacher was saying I am trying to get her fired. No I just want her to have to follow the rules like the rest of us and want her to talk with me instead of getting me written up for not talking. This is absurd.
