I got a friend of mine a job at a family members business.

She slipped up and told me she forged a document in another name so she could take money.

I snitched

I don't know why she'd tell me that! This is my families money "you" stole and you're telling me?! Wtf? Lol

Dumb ass

Now she's being investigated, they're reviewing cameras and documentation and if they can see her forge the document on camera she will be brought up on charges of forgery.

Sucks but
Wwyd?

I do not help friends get jobs, period. Especially if it's a family business.

You did what you had to do. She stabbed you in the first place. Shame on her

I'd tell my family member and end that friendship immediately. I'd be disgusted with her.

You brought someone who was not only stealing but stealing from your family to justice.  She does not sound like any froend I would want.

Id have done the same.

A "friend of DH"s  had a decent job with a friend of his. He was a manager at a college bookstore. You know how during book buy back, you can look up the ISBN number and see how much it's worth?

He would lie to the kids, and pocket the difference. He made *so* much money doing it. He would also change the inventory lists and sell extra books to a local used bookstore.

I tried reporting him but it was a privatly owned company, so there wasnt any sort of contact number. He got fired eventually. Poor guy tried to play it off as downsizing. Uh huh. His friend who got him the job was in on the whole thing, but he just got demoted.

And they saw absolutly nothing wrong with their actions.
