So I bought a vera bradley bag on a fb yardsale sight in my area. I'm not one for fancy purses but it was cute, and was only 25. In the picture it looked fine. Its a black amd white floral print. I met the woman selling it, after work tonight to pick it up. It was dark out and I didn't really look at it (totally my fault) but I got home and it just looks gross it has grime like dirt all over. I put shout on it, and put it through a delicate cycle. It still looks dirty.

Is there anything else I could do like vinegar or baking soda to help?

And yes I'm anon because I feel like an idiot =(

Hydrogen peroxide and dawn in a spray bottle. spray it on, use an old toothbrush, scrub, "rinse" with a warm wash cloth.

Never liked shout myself. Whatever you decide on, I'd put it one full strength, scrub and wash by hand.

1 mom liked this

Oxyclean spray and let it dry, then wash. That shit works miracles.

Best stain remover ever. And its only about a dollar a bar. I use it on my daughters vera bradleys and they look new.

I run it under super hot water, they scub it with the bar. Wash in hot and air dry.

Shout works better if you scrub. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to work it into the fibers.
