has anyone on this site  gotten pregnant  NOT using protection.

because from what i read  the woman on this site, especially this group seem to have a much higher birth control failure rate then the entire world.

ooOoo... so? Really, who cares how every mom on this site conceived?

We don't use protection and have only gotten pregnant when we wanted to. We use the pull out method. I don't count that as protection.

Both my pregnancies were planned so we didn't use birth control

Quoting luvmybug: ooOoo... so? Really, who cares how every mom on this site conceived?

its just you read all the post (though most are trolls i am sure) bout these women getting accidentally pregnant in bad situations and they  always say they use multiple forms of birth control yet   boom   they still get pregnant.

Yup.

I've never *knock on wood* gotten pregnant because of a birth control failure.

I think the ladies just add that little disclaimer because they don't want a million posts saying "you should have used protection!".

Honestly, it seems that way, but...there are a lot of women on this site in general. The ratio probably isn't as high as you might think. If, for instance, the pill has a 95% efficacy rate (I'm making that up), then 5 out of 100 might legitimately gotten pg on the pill.

People also exaggerate. I actually DID get pregnant while on the pill. However, I knew I had missed two days in a row. I just convinced myself that it wouldn't happen, since I'd been on the pill for 19 years. I was wrong. Lol.
