Do you own a deep fryer?

How do you clean it?

I just cleaned mine and took it apart.  I put all the part without electric parts and put it on the POTS/PANS setting on the dishwasher.  I then scrubbed the electric part with an S.O.S. pad and sat it out to dry on a towel.

How do you dispose of the used oil?

I put mine in  2 old glass pickle jars.  Where should I dispose of them at?

I put the grease in coffee cans and put it in our garbage bags.

Dh cleans it.

We rarely use it. I am thinking of making some home-made doughnuts so might be getting it down again soon.

I would scrub it with a green scrubby thing, and soap.  I never put it in the dishwasher.

I would just toss the oil in the garbage.

I don't think I'd be able to pour it into that small of an opening.

Does she use a funnel?
