I refuse to date black men

While I find them attractive in general, I don't want to be just another chubby white girl dating a black man, looking like that's what she's settling for because no other race will have her.

I am however open to most every other race. The stereotype isn't as strong.

Do you mean stigma?

I don't understand how you can be afraid of being a stereotype. Everyone falls into some stereotype or another.

I'm a mom of three who drives a minivan/Soccer mom.

See how that works?

So, the most important thing for you is for people not to stereotype you.  And you're willing to miss out on a potentially great guy because of this.

Okay.

Whatever suits you.

My husband is brown and sometimes I'm chubby. I don't care. We love each other and are happy. I could find someone else and was unhappily with a man of my own race for almost 19 years.

I choose happiness first.

Sucks for you. You could be missing out on the love of your life thinking this way.

You have issues and are probably projecting but they are better off without you.
