I don't get this at all. What are y'all eating if you don't eat fruits and vegetables on a daily basis?

Beans are legumes, not vegetables. They're still good for you though.

Even on the worst of diets I would find it hard to completely avoid.... However I do know a few pretty despicable parent so I suppose it's possible...

I make meals. We had home made orange chicken the other night. But I didn't have and veggies. We ran out and I could not get to the store. Doesn't mean we are eating junk just means I don't have fruits and veggies ATM

When I was little my mother used to say something to me, "If you haven't eaten a fruit or vegetable then you haven't eaten a meal".

I haven't taken much from my mother's parenting that I use with my own kids, but that saying has come out of my mouth many times.

The nice thing about canning/freezing summer fruits, is that they make great smoothies during the winter.

I can't think of a day that my family has gone without eating fruit. We're fruitaholics lol. Now veggies are kind of another story. While I do try my best to provide veggies on a daily basis, sometimes it just doesn't happen. Like tonight for example. I made chicken parmesan for dinner with a side of garlic toast. Tonight was grocery night, so I was out of veggies. No biggie. The food was good and we all survived ;)

Well for dinner we had mostly meat. It's not hard to avoid veggies.

Ok let's see.
Breakfast: sausage, eggs, and cheese burritos.
Lunch: grilled chicken, rice, and beans.
Dinner: spaghetti and garlic bread.
See? Not a single fruit or veggie and 3 cooked meals. I wouldn't count tomatoes in the spaghetti sauce, but that's the closest.
