Would this make you mad if you were a BM?

Last weekend we took my stekids (ages 5&8) to a friend's kid's birthday party.

The friend lives about 3 miles from BM. We live about 30 miles away.

We were originally going to just leave the party about a half hour before pickup time and meet BM at our house. But then we decided to just call BM and offer to drop them off to her at regular time. I mean, we were minutes away!

When we got there she didn't even speak to us. Just took the kids and went inside. We have had little ones back since Thursday and she still hasn't spoken to us at all since. Even at the parent night Friday.

I just don't understand why it upset her?

She wanted to take the kid to the birthday party?

I'd be grateful I didn't have to drive an hour back and forth!
Maybe something else is bothering her. I get very introverted when I'm stressed.

That is odd.
Sucks that making it easier for her was the wrong thing to do.
I'd just point blank ask her what her problem was.

She's never even met the family before.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I am the same way when stressed and worried, any other time, I am pretty extroverted.

That wouldn't bother me at all.

I always hated when ex would change things without warning. What if she had left to pick up and not home? Communication is key when distance is involved to a peaceful co parenting. My ex would leave a voicemail after I left at 6 am that we'd meet in a different town because it was closer to him. I would be on the road and usually an hour from the normal pick up When I'd get signal.
