What's up with the fruits and veggies this year?

They are 2x the price and are crappy quality.

Did you guys get some bad weather or something?

Love,

A Canadian in January

Doubt any farmers are in here.... and if there are, then that's probably why your stuff tastes like shit.

Weve had some unusual weather here in fl too. I got some oranges from my neighbors parents, usually their sweet & amazing, this year they were a bit tart.

the oranges JUST came out in the stores, they are good but you have to really pick through to find good ones.  And the price is a lot more than usual, nearly double.

I don't think you need to be a farmer to know if the weather's been weird, but if the farmers are on cm, it would explain a lot lol

We have signs all over our grocery stores saying because of the extreme weather conditions many fruits and vegetables have been ruined and they are getting what they can from other resources.

Major drought in California !  Some orchards, the trees are just all dead.  Farmers cannot afford to keep them watered, or there simply is no water.  Sucks. Hoping to get more rain/ snow this season, but not looking so good.:(
