I am a part time college student. DH and I have 3 kids under the age of 16. Should I include the info school sent me when I do our taxes? Does it make much of a difference?

Yes. My refund went up $1700 when I included my 1098 college info.

Yes. There are tax credits for being a college student.

My SO & I both attend college. We always include our tax info from our school including if you have already started paying on it along with books/supplies amount. If you're doing your taxes online yourself then try it with then try it without if you want to see a difference.

Yes it does make a difference...it just depends on your total income. But it only takes a few minutes so why would you leave it out? It also can determine if you qualify for some grants and programs to help pay for school.

Yes, it does make a difference depending on the tax bracket you're in. Some of my college expenses can't be written off because DH makes too much money, but every little bit helps.
