Ok so about 45 minutes ago (give or take) I was eating nutella for the first time. It started really burning my tongue but I just thought that was because I was eating rough teddy grahmns with it. It felt as if I had been licking a high grit sandpaper.

Now my tongue is starting to swell and I am getting these raised patches that kind of itch all over my body.

I kind of just let it go and went on...

Well now my tonsils and adenoids are starting to swell.

What could be wrong with me? Any home remedies that could make me feel better?

Benadryl if you can breathe OK. If you have trouble breathing, an Epi pen or 911.

Sounds like a but allergy. Take an antihistamine and stay away from Nutella!

If your tongue is swelling and this has never happened before I would go to either urgent care or the ER. No one on cafemom would be able to know how bad the swelling will get, and that can become a very serious reaction.

Sounds like you're having a pretty severe allergic reaction. You should probably take a high dose of Benadryl and get to the ER.

That's a nut allergic reaction, you're likely allergic to tree nuts. If its spreading then er or 911
