My 4 year old dd has a 102 degree fever, says her throat hurts, stuffy nose, a cough and just noticed a rash on her back and arm. She seems very tired also. Hasn't left the couch much today.

She started getting sick a week ago, but I thought she was just about over it until last night. So it's Saturday night and Dr offices are closed. I'm pretty sure it's not ER worthy, but what about Urgent Care? Would you take your kid to urgent care for that?

Oh, and after all this talk here about measles, now I'm worried about that. Thanks a lot guys lol
And yes, she was vaccinated.

What kind of rash? Could it be heat rash from having a fever and sweating?

Kind of like that, but a little lighter color.

Go to urgent care. She could have Scarlett fever from untreated strep.

Measles is red, raised, and hard, much like pox.

It looks like it's an irregular, patchy pink rash, which points more toward allergies or skin irritation. It's probably just a side effect of the fever. I'd give her some fever reducer and a cup of tea with honey and see how she's feeling in the morning.
