Meal replacement shake

Any recommendations on a good meal replacement shake? I bought one and it tasted awful and turned into this green nasty goop! I've heard of shakeology and have a sample coming my way but would like something cheaper and not nasty tasting. I am also breastfeeding so looking for something not loaded with junk. Thanks!

Vega is awesome but pricey...I would amazon vega and then maybe pick one of the cheaper alternatives in the suggestions.  You want to avoid anything with soy isolate

Buy a nutribullet and make your own. I make mine with fresh spinach or arugula, bananas, frozen berries, sometimes I put apples, pears, carrots, broccoli, as well as nuts or seeds with some water. They are very healthy and about 250 calories.

A lot of shakes out there are only good because of their marketing (like shakeology). I like plant based proteins because I don't eat dairy. I think they have a better nutritional profile as well. So brands that I like are Vega One, the Ultimate Meal, and Raw Meal. I have raw meal right now... it takes a little perfecting so it's not gritty. I usually mix with flax milk and a banana in my blender. But I think it tastes fine. I love the vanilla chai.

I like the GNC Lean Shake. They have several flavors.

I usually use half the recommended serving and add stuff. Almost all of my smoothies/meal replacements get flax seed oil and/or chia seeds.

Banana (baby food banana actually works good) and PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
Banana and spinach
Greek vanilla yogurt and spinach
Plain oats and soy or almond milk
Pineapple and vanilla meal replacement is good

I love shakeology, I use to drink it everyday but it got old after a while. I still have a full bag just sitting there. Don't drink it plain, it's gross that way. Mix in some PB or fruit or something. My fav was pb and banana. It is very expensive though.

I just do fruits and greens. (Lots).
