Opinions please! about hair...

So, I'm sick to death of winter and school and being stressed out and blah. I want to do something to cheer me up, so I'm thinking of coloring my hair. I typically only go to the salon once every 2 years or so, so this is a big deal and would (hopefully) give me the boost I need to get thru till spring :)

ANYWAY, I am thinking of going dark, with redish, maroonish undertones. As in, you can see it's red/maroon in the light. Is that too young for me? I'm 40, I have no desire to look like a teen but think this would be pretty. Is it a "young" look?? Thoughts?

My hair is maroonish and I'm mid thirties. I don't think it is too young. I think you should go for it.

I think that would look really pretty. I used to do my hair exactly like that too.

7/44 in Wella brand, is a pretty color, but it depends on what color your hair is now.

If you don't go very often, I suggest a low maintenance color... otherwise you will hate the regrowth......
