So, with my refund, i plan to buy a car. Nothing new, and nothing fancy, but definitely four doors and manual transmission!

Do any of you drive older cars? Like, early to mid 2000s... What do you drive?

I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu. I would love to upgrade to the newer model.

Was it expensive to fix? I won't buy anything without my mechanic checking it though, so i know it'll be a good car

we have a 2005 caravan that we brought last year with our taxes. cost us 2500.00 and has given us minimal problems! the big issue right now is our streets are CRAPPY and our van's shocks and struts are totally damaged and now have to be replaced. our van rode so smoothly when we first got it...now it makes noises and squeaks. i am ready to move because our streets are HORRENDOUS on vehicles.

I have a 2004 Chevy Aveo.  I HATE it passionately.

Is it a size thing? They seem small....

My husband is a mechanic, specializing in German cars... so for me... no....lol

There's lots of them though, so used parts are usually easy to come by.

2007 Jeep patriot owner...I love my jeep. love it. i will buy another when I need to, but it has been an absolute dream to own and maintain. Hardly any issues at all and the engine still purrs at 104K miles.
