on Meredith, sugar daddies for tuition

These girls are on the Meredith show and are talking about a site that connects women with sugar daddies. They aren't "required" to have sex but usually do. They try to represent it as not being a prostitution or escort site but isnt that the definition of an escort? There is no gurantee of sex with an escort but generally that is how the transaction takes place. What do you think? Prostitution or not?
One young lady is in nursing school and has 5 sugar daddies (one married) and she does have sex with them.

I wonder if she has considered that most nursing schools require a certain standard of moral behavior out of students. Now that she has outed herself I wonder if she is concerned about being reprimanded at school or even kicked out.

If she's paying her tuition and passing her classes, are they legally allowed to kick her out? She isn't doing anything illegal. She is an escort who chooses to have sex. They aren't paying her for sex, they are paying for her company.

Usually, unless it's a religious school, or she's in a sorority, there's no morals clause. As long as she doesn't make too big of a spectacle of herself at school, pays her way, and keeps her grades up, there's really not shit they can do about it. She will probably catch a shitload of grief though.

I guess it depends on the institution. My school had high standards for the quality and caliber of nurses they turn out. I went to a private school not a public school. They were strict about a lot of behaviors. We were drug tested random, could not smoke, reserved hair (no funny styles or color), nails clean short and no polish, plain white shoes, no cursing and no "bad" behavior in your down time. Most nursing schools in my area are this way. There seems to be high competition in producing nurses who fit a certain "type".

Quoting i.love.my.life: If she's paying her tuition and passing her classes, are they legally allowed to kick her out? She isn't doing anything illegal. She is an escort who chooses to have sex. They aren't paying her for sex, they are paying for her company.

Good for them, smart if they're not troubled by their choices.

Nursing schools aren't like that around here. What one does in their down time is their own business.
