how many calories should i be eating to lose weight?

Im 6ft, 201lbs, 28 yrs old. Im breastfeeding, im doing the jillian micheals 30day shred level 2 video in the morning, and running one mile at night.

BMR: 1736+500( Bfing)=2236

Maintenance while working out 3-5 days per week: 2236*1.55=3465

To lose 2 lbs per week: 3465-1000=2465

Your ideal calorie range while BFing and working out 3-5 days per week is 2236-2465 calories per day to lose 2 lbs per week.

No. You should also be building muscle since you're working out, which requires more calories per pound to maintain than fat (meaning your calorie requirement will increase, not decrease).

Not necessarily. You need to recalculate your BMR every 10 lbs or so to make sure you have the correct caloric requirements.

Worry more about what your eating than how many calories. I'm eating a lot but I'm also eating the correct portions of the kinds of food one should be eating. Thats most important.
