I have to call up the *FREE* Anthem insurance ride hotline so my son can get to his 2 year check up. I am so freaking embarressed. 

My car broke down and now we only have hubbys car which he take s to work

Also could my 3 year old tag along with us? She is not covered by anthem but I cant leave her :(

You are doing what you can.  Hang in there momma.  If it bothers you too much, reschedule the checkup.

I wish I could! I did that once and the state of Indiana was calling me because he has a heart problem  :/

Please don't let this bother you and definitely don't cancel or reschedule. All you are doing is availing yourself of appropriate resources to deal with the situation, there should be no embarrassment. Cars break down, it doesn't matter who you are, they are mechanical and that's what they do sometimes. Take care of business with what's available and be grateful to the universe that it's available to you, absolutely no reason for embarrassment.

Finding a way to care for your child is not shameful. I don't know what their policies are though.

No you shouldn't be ashamed. You are doing what you have to do for your kids. Thats what matters.
