My MIL and a school uniform.

My MIL, AGAIN.
My kids are in private school now, and they have to wear uniforms, but next September they are going to PS, where they don't have uniforms.
We where talking about kids' new school with my MIL and I said that I will miss the uniforms. She told me that I have to buy my kids uniform anywhere and send them to PS wearing them everyday. I told her that it was a very stupid idea. Why would my kids wear uniform to a school where all other kids wear regular clothes? She told me that I just love to spend money and all other things "very pleasant" things about me.
WTF??? Who does that???

I hated when I switched to public school. I loved uniforms. Less teasing.

I love it. The best thing is that there is no crying in the mornings over what to wear. :)

Tell her she raised her kids, now let you raise yours.

I hated when I went to college and had to pick out what to wear each morning. It sucked. I had a uniform for 13 years of school. It cost me an arm and a leg to buy clothes for college. I had only every really needed two or three pairs of jean for the weekends before college.
Some public schools have uniforms. I know some here do at least.

How odd that she would think you should send your kids to school in uniforms in a school that doesn't have uniforms.

Um ... where does she think uniforms they DON'T need are going to come from? Tell her to sod off or pay for the private school, uniforms and everything else they need.

Apparently her kids did wear uniform to school, which was not required. Who does that?
