I took an hourly pay cut to go full time

I was a substitute teacher for Head Start at $10 an hour. They usually pay minimum wage but I have a BA.

I accepted a full time position for 9.23 an hour. I get paid vacations, holidays, and can get unemployment during the summer.

Did I make the right decision?

Ten bucks an hour if and when they decide to need you verses nine dollars and change all the time? No contest. Take the full time and eventually you may earn a raise and be up to the ten range again.

Without a doubt.
You have a contract (im assuming? ) and will be guaranteed work and pay rather than IF they need you.
congrats!

of course! the benefits of being full-time outweigh the extra money of part-time. at least in my personal opinion.

I'd take the paycut, the difference in pay is pretty insignificant.

This too. Especially after taxes and stuff taken out. You probably wont notice a difference. Plus you get pay in the summer.
