it takes twice as much alcohol to get a buzz when you're sad

idk. I know analgesics seem to hit a helluva lot harder when you're stressed. My labor stalled out yesterday at 3cms. I was freaking out about all the weather issues in our area but after that shot I was pretty giddy.

Now everything's worn off Im still stressed, since everything's closed today.

I dont drink so I really wouldn't know that. Maybe try a different way of relieving your sadness?

Not particularly, but I don't drink when sad.

It's a metabolism/hormone thing. I can't remember the actual name of it. It constricts your arteries so the alcohol takes longer to get from point a to point b. But when it does hit, it will hit just as hard, so you still need to be careful.
