Severe belly bloat--help!!!?

A few days before and during my period I get massive belly bloat. I have to wear yoga pants and people think I'm 9 months pregnant. They even ask me when I'm due! Ugh! We are going to see family in 2 weeks and I am afraid it'll hit at that time. I really don't want to deal with trying to hide a huge belly the whole trip. Feeling self conscious, etc. it's already bad enough that I'm not thin but this makes it worse! Any tips on ways to reduce bloating?

Cutting down on acidic foods, drink plenty of water.

Does acidic food make it worse? I didn't know that. That could be my problem

Drink a shit ton of water.  If it's too bad take a water pill, but you have to drink a ton of water when you take a water pill.  Also watch your sodium intake
