Does this seem weird to you?

My dd is self conscious about her body. She is almost 5. She seems to be that way around her dad like getting dressed or when she is in the shower (she still needs help with her hair).

She yells at him and everything. Which is why I feel she needs her own room at his place (they share a room). She doesn't act this way around my dad or my fiance so does this seem weird to you?

Her and her dad share a room?

If it is around one adult.. yes wierd. I'd question some things

Not weird. I agree that she needs her own space though.

Not totally abnormal, but I'd be watching for other signs.

also.... I think she really needs her own room... At 5 it's usually a pretty big deal to have their own place.

My son is 5, I think it is weird. But I don't have girls. I also find it strange that they share a room. I have literally never heard of that until now.

Does he make it a big deal to be dressed nicely or whatever? It's weird that it's just against one guy. My niece hated ALL men without shirts on. Even ds, and he's only a few years older than her (days he slept over, he slept on the couch but he sleeps in shorts only).

Does your dad or df help her in the shower or when she's changing? If she shares a room with her dad he probably does.

I keep telling him that but he doesn't think she does.
