I have a Masters in Mortuary Science and Embalming. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. I went to school for years.....

Now I work 2 jobs and still havent ate in 2 days (to make sure my toddlers get to eat)

College is a waste of freaking money! Seriously.... All it does is leave you over-qualified and jobless.

I would have thought that would be a somewhat in demand job...have you thought of relocating?

Not me.  I have been employed in my chosen field since graduation (with time off for grad schools).

I have a pretty useless degree too, but I'm a SAHM so it's a non issue.

Sorry that your struggling, hon. I have about four friends who graduated a year ago in teaching and they still haven't found a job, either.

I was hired right out of grad school and have used my degree every day for the last 8 years. Hope you find something soon. That's rough.

It depends on the degree and the demand in your area. Plenty of college degrees are important and plenty are useless.
