Would you wear a second hand wedding dress you got at the thrift store? Or would you consider it unlucky?

Hell no! That's like wearing used wedding rings, I wouldn't do that either.

Yes. As long as it wasn't from a friend or SIL. Past generations, stranger, sure why not.

If I liked the dress, sure.

I wouldnt consider it unlucky. The couple could still be very much happily married, but she didnt want her dress laying around.

If it was the exact style I wanted yes. I preserved my wedding dress but my SIL sold hers on Facebook because she needed the cash.

i did! it cost me 99 dollars plus some alterations.. but i loved the dress! :)
