For those of you who are RNs/Nursing students...Do you suck in math?

How did you/are you managing the hard math classes for Nursing?

Isn't the math hard to get into Nursing school and in the courses? I always thought it was.

No. I'm decent at math.
The math required for a two year nursing degree is pretty basic. If you go for a master's, it's much harder.

You'll learn whatever ypu need to know in prereqs. Get a tutor if you must.

We all use calculators and it's just understanding formulas.

Here you are not allowed to use a calculator during your course or your national exam. They feel that calculators will not always be available in industry.

Now, I barely passed my medical math for my pre req (and have always been terrible at math). I struggled with drip factors but that is the only math for this year. Next year during pharmacology though I'm sure it'll be harder.
