Do I want to go to that extent? 2 years ago my dh and I had a car accident, everything was settled new car etc... about a month later dh gets pulled over for speeding and was told his license was suspended. Confused I find out that he was sent paperwork by the bmv to show proof of insurance. Well that's weird we didn't get anything stating that. Because he didn't change his address at the bmv they sent it to our old address. Okay that's fine and can be fixed which it was. Fast forward 2 years a fight breaks out in a restaurant my dh who always has to be the peace keeper broke it up but had to give his version of what he witnessed for these 2 ass holes, they run his name and it says he has a warrant for a battery. Wtf!? Against who? Call a lawyer who gets in the case file and says he sees the clerical error and all it takes is someone to thoroughly read over the dockets and they'll see what happened but nothing can be done till monday. But he said we could file suit for damages I'm pissed but I just want my dh home he's been gone since friday night and this is crazy on top of embarrassing.

If the lawyer says you have a case- do so. Peace of mind will go a long way.
