Tonight

I purchased a Minecraft account for my 3 year old.  How do you feel about that?  I think it's ridiculous, but she loves playing it with her dad and brother and she's been using mine and then I can't play.  We all played together tonight and it was so much fun.

A 3 year old though?  I'm feeling guilty about it.  Like I'm setting her up for a life of ADHD and low achievement by letting her play video games so young.

Getting a child comfortable with computers is a must these days. As long as she's still getting plenty of outdoor time, imaginative play, etc, having computer time is great.

(Assuming it's the computer version... Even if it's for a gaming platform, it's family time and making memories. Screen time for an hour or two isn't gonna fry her brain.  ;-)

I think it's adorable, the whole family gaming together ^_^

Just don't let her sit on it for extended periods of time...

Yep, we've already had a battle about it.  I'm considering getting one of those router things that limits your kids' time for you because I'm sick of dealing with it.  I so badly want to get the machine so I can blame it, "sorry you can't log in kids, but the little black box says so".

I just unplug mine sometimes and call it broken... We have the worst internet EVER around here. Thankfully they only give it a couple of tries before they go find something else to do and I can plug it back in, lol.
