Yesterday my ds and I went to our yearly fundraiser that we've been a part of for 7 years. Its a childhood cancer fundraiser called "St Balrick's Day". As part of the funraiser, you collect donations that go towards  cancer research for children with cancer. In return, you let barbers shave your head bald to be a sign of solidarity for those children who loose their hair to chemo treatments. I thought I would share pics of my new, fuzzy head to you mamas!

The chilren's names are those from my area that passed from cancer. Tyler was 11 and Shelbi was 6.

Me with my handsome and VERY tall ds. He decided not to shave his head this year but he's enjoying rubbing my fuzzy head.

What a wonderful gesture! I have done something similar in the past :) it was the longest I had gone without any kind of dye in my hair since I donated it as well. I gave over 22inches of hair.

Ugh this hit me hard.  My son's name is Tyler and he's 11 and I have a 6 year old daughter but her name isn't Shelbi.  Good for you!  Your hair actually looks great!
