Mine is this week. I don't have too many thoughts on it exactly. Dd is on the spectrum, and standardized tests aren't exactly her strong suit.

It's used as a benchmark test at my son's school. No big deal IMO.

My 5 and 8th graders took it this morning. .they said it was easy

My friend opted her two kids out.  As homeschoolers, I am only obligated to do something minimal like the CAT test every three years.

TBH - I see merits of testing but think it is a tool, not the be all, end all to promotion.

What grade are we talking? My 11th grader took some test that I had to rush her to DMV to get her state id for.

My dh is a teacher. They did the testing last week.

My 3rd grader took it last week. 8 don't really have an opinion on it.

 My kid will be doing the SBAC next year, and Im not understanding the freak out.

I know some freak out cause its all on the computer, but that wont be a issue with my son since over 50% of his school and everyday life is done on a computer.
