WTF? Creepy...

A friend had a dog for 15 years, it passed away recently. She didn't take it well. She did something unexpected though..she took the body to a taxidemist. She said now her dog will always be with her....creepy...right?

How would you respond to a friend who did this? How am I suppose to respond? I am freaked out...at a loss to say the least.

I always said we'd have our boy stuffed and mounted on casters so I could pull him around with me. ;)

But instead we had him cremated after he died last March.

He was the best dog. Now we have a dog possessed by the devil.

That's her way of coping, let it be, everyone deals differently

I think stuffing any animal like that is just weird and creepy. When it's a beloved pet, it's even creepier.

Sorry I have no advice just support.

I would do it if I had the money so I see nothing wrong with it.

It's not my cup of tea, but I can see where she's coming from. A lot of people get their pets "stuffed" so they can have them near them.

Although I do think it's a little odd I wouldn't really respond to it at all.  If she starts taking it places with her then I might get worried.
