Dd is already mad at me.  These kids have 1 chore a day. One has to do the dishes and the other has to sweep floors.  I tell dd I want the yard cleaned up of the dog pooh today. I get home at 4 she is laying down.  I tell her to get up she doesn't.  I go in her room about an hour ago. I ask her what she is doing.  Her reply listening to music.  I tell her give me your phone.  She hands me the phone.  I tell her when the dog pooh is picked up I will give her back the  phone.  She cleaned it up and now she is mad.  Told her to get over herself. My other dd is going to be mad when I tell her dishes done tonight or no phone tomorrow.  I am tired of talking to these teenagers who want to do things in there time not mine.

You do what ever works.  I think teens are worst than toddlers going though the no stage.

If they aren't mad at times then you're not doing your job. Get on em'.

I believe if your teenager isn't mad at you at least 3 times a week you might be doing something wrong lol.

But no really they'll get over it

I'd spray her with a hose for not listening.
