Sep,2014 I was diagnosed with pcos. In Oct my doctor started me on metformin 500 once a day and we worked up to 1000mil a day come nov. End of Oct I got my period and it was horrbile. I had never bleed so much before. Nov, I didn't get a period. Dec 7th I got my period and Jan 6th I got my period. Feb 28th I got my period and it last 4 days, so that put it into march. It is now April and I haven't got it yet. Now, I will admit there are times I forget to take my second pill. The symptoms are sometimes hard to deal with. I have a period tracker on my phone I've been using and it says I'm not late yet. Also, I can't be pg because I haven't had sex since jan. Is this normal with having pcos and metformin? Should I be regular by now?

They put my dd on metformin for pcos but she was bad about taking it so they finally took her off. She has never had regular periods.

I would go back to your endocrinologist.
