My DD spends Sundays with my dad; spending the night with him Saturday, they go to church then lunch & shopping. He texted me these pictures. He buys all of her church dresses, and shoes. She looks so adorable!

DH & I are atheists so when she expressed wanting to go to church and see what it was about my dad was the obvious choice. He isn't pushy, especially with children.

Here DD is with her Lolo (Filipino for Grandfather) after he dropped her off. It's a little blurry but you can see how much they love each other.

She is lovely.

And you are a great parent to allow your child to attend church.

We waited until we felt she was old enough to understand but it's ultimately her choice.

Thanks. We don't make these choices for our kids but we do make sure they are old enough to understand and that they aren't being filled with hate or discrimination.

That is what is so great about what you're doing. So many parents won't allow their children to choose. I've also seen plenty of kids/teens that don't want to go to church or want to explore different venues and it just isn't allowed.
