In Hindsight, That May Have Been A Bad Idea…

I have a redbone coonhound named Nikki. When she was a puppy, my 2 year old (no lie) taught her to sniff out the Easter eggs for her while we were having an egg hunt at my mother's house. To exercise her hunting instincts, I had the idea to save leftover Easter eggs and put treats in them and hide them in the barn for her. Now I can't keep her out of the kids' Easter baskets. I had to put them up on a high shelf until morning. She almost spent the night in the barn. It has never been a problem before this year. I did make a basket for the dogs and cats too (the horses just got carrots without eggs).

Yeah. Usually she's good about just handing them to the kids but she drools, lol.
