My neighbour cant stop bitching about it. She invited me to church several times, but i declined, saying that we are not religious and not christian, so we never go to church. Now she says i shouldn't have taken my children to Easter  egg roll because it is a religious holiday. Wwys? Is she right?

I'd tell her to shove her opinion up her ass.
What I do with my kids is one of her business.

I'd tell her to mind her own business. We are atheists, but we participate in all of the holidays. I'm sure she does not follow the bible and traditions 100%. For example, did she cook today? Use technology? Has she did laundry, ect? On the 7th day they are supposed to rest and observe the Lord.

Hunting eggs isn't a Christian thing anyway. It's technically a pagan fertility thing. So are bunnies.

Your neighbor needs to mind her own business.

Easter was moved to when it is because of the pagan holiday Ostara. That's where Easter eggs come from.

Remind her of the pagan beginnings of Easter Eggs and watch her head explode

Easter is just another Pagan holiday that Christians stole. It started off as a fertility "yay spring is here' holiday. Then the Christians stole it for their own purposes just like they did Christmas. NO holiday started off as primarily Christian.
