My sons pupils are always huge. I googled it, and found an article linking huge pupils in kids to autism. I am pretty concerned about his eyesight, and have a Dr appt set up for him. But what do you all think? True, false?

Breathing is linked to autism.

Get your son's eyes checked before you jump to conclusions.

There have been some features identified that appear to be common among those with Autism.

I don't know. I've never heard that but I can say my daughter with Aspergers has HUGE pupils. Everyone comments on how she looks high all the time.

I don't know if it's true that there is a link, but don't worry yourself about it. There are a lot of things they link to autism!  How old is your son?

Large pupils is not a trait of autism that I've ever heard. It's definitely not something that is considered during assessment or considered a symptom.

I don't know. Lump and Bean look identical, but only one is being evaluated for Autism. Monkey and Red have big pupils, but that could be our genetics. Red needs glasses but Monkey doesn't.
