My heating bill was $189 this month, but it's not due until April 21. Pay it now or put $300 in savings as planned? This is one of our only bills that doesn't come out on the same day every month? I hate knowing something is due and not paying it!!

We will both be paid before then so money isn't the issue, I just had plans to save so I'm torn.

Somebody tell me!!!

Pay the bill. One less thing to worry about.

Why not pay it now and put 111 into savings? and then put what you would have paid for into savings.

Put half aside and half in savings.

Can you pay online through your bank? Like bill pay? Then you can schedule a payment for that bill when its due AND put the $300 in savings.

tough call. typically i like paying all of the bills the second I know theyre due and we have the money. If you know you will have the money I would just bump up the amount you put into savings when you both get paid.
