I'm 34 1/2 weeks pregnant and we spent Easter at my mom's house. It was a bad day...I was so nauseated and vomiting that unfortunately Easter was pretty much ruined for me. :( I had to spend most of the time lying down on the bed in the guest room. My mom kept coming in and was being concerned and supportive. She sat with me, rubbed my back, kissed my forehead, and offered to get me anything I need. DH didn't come into the room once. :( He stayed outside with everyone else at the Easter gathering and of course did a lot of drinking so that I, as sick as I am, had to drive him, DS, and myself home. Basically my mom was doing what he should have done. He wasn't being a very caring husband. :(

He should have been your mom? You're an adult, get over yourself

He probably saw your mom taking care of you and didn't want to intrude. I like minimal interruptions when I'm sick in bed.

Well your mom was doing it so maybe he thought he didn't need to do because she was.

I was thinking the same thing,  what adult woman needs her back rubbed and her forehead kissed because she's sick?  You sound like a drama queen op!

Another drama queen who uses pregnancy as an excuse to get attention. He isn't your nurse maid. Poor guy.

He should have at least checked on you, but he probably saw your mom taking care of you and figured he would at least keep the kids out of your hair
