My dd cried herself to sleep...

One of her fellow fliers was dropped in a stunt at practice, tonight. I heard from her mom about an hour ago that she is being liflighted to Primary Children's hospital with a fractured skull, and she needs neurosurgery. Her mom posted that she has a 4" crack on her skull and a few brain bleeds. My dd is so upset and just feels scared for her friend. She cried herself to sleep last night.

This is horrible. We've never had a girl seriously injured. I can't imagine what he parents are going through.

The girls are all SO close, and especially protective of the littler ones. I wish there was something we could do...

It sounds like a horrible accident. Unfortunately, as careful as I'm sure your coaches are, there's still a marigin for error. It sounds like she's in the BEST possible hands, though, so I hope she is okay!

Poor thing :(  Did she land on the hard floor or on the matt?  How old is she?
