After baby pulls self up to stand, and walks around the house holding onto everything, do they walk without holding onto things? Dd is 9 months and moves around the house with ease while holding onto couches, chairs, baby gates, and coffee tables... how soon before she takes her ACTUAL first step?

Mine all varied. My middle one was walking within a few weeks. My youngest took about a month or so and my oldest took her sweet time, she didn't walk for quite a few months.

With my daughter it was about two months, and came really soon after she was able to stand from a squat in the middle of a room not holding onto anything.

My son is 11 months and is now beginning to stand unassisted for 10 or so seconds at a time. I cheer so hard for him!

They are all so different.  But, my daughter let go of furniture somewhere after 12 or 13 months.  She didn't really take off completely until about 15 months.
