This morning at 6 am we got a call from sil letting us know that dh's grandma had passed.

Due to issues with dh's uncle and aunt, we are not going down to the funeral or anything else because pretty much everything is owned by them including the appartment mil lives in.

After the phone call, both dh and I go back to bed. Around 9 am ds3 wakes up and runs into our room to snuggle. As I fully wake up I notice dh is gone from the room. I call out to see where he is. I hear nothing. So I get up and get ds dressed and as I get around to make breakfast I ask ds to find daddy.

After 10 minutes ds comes back and says he cant find daddy. I look though the whole house and dh is not here. Our car is still here but no sign of dh. Even his shoes are still here.

Its 2pm here and I still have no idea where dh is.  No note, his phone is here, nothing letting me know where he is. I'm starting to get really worried.

*Update*

 WE FOUND HIM!!!

Dh apperently woke me up to tell me that he was going to a creek about  a quarter of a mile from the house. He has just been sitting on a bench there for all this time.  He did not think about much other than that his grandma was dead and that proper closure of certain issue won't happen now. He was finding his peace with that I guess.

I wanted to thank those that gave prayers and that were nice to my venting here about it instead of doing something stupid.

Maybe he just needed time to clear his head.

Yeah, I would be getting freaked out.  It would be so out of character for my husband to go off somewhere without a note or a heads-up.

That is what I thought, but this is too long for him.

I checked every where in the house and the yard. I'll check the car at nap time.

I don't think he would just leave with no shoes. I'd call the police.
