do you allow toys in your kids rooms?

I'm buying a house with a playroom and thinking about whether to allow toys in my kids rooms. I am using the bedrooms as a calm down space when they angry so I was leaning toward not, but I'm still debating. Thoughts?

They can have toys in their rooms, but the vast majority is in their play room.

If we had a play room then at the end of the day, what ever made it into their room would be put back.

Since we don't, that shit stays in their room lol!

Yes they have special toys in their rooms and then have toys in the toy room that are for all to share.

I would prefer if toys stayed ONLY in their rooms... someday might happen.

We keep toys in their rooms, and toys in the playroom. And a bin of toys in the family room and kid shelves of books in the library. It's a kid friendly house :)

I tried just in the playroom, I tried in the play room, and their room. Now toys are only allowed in their rooms. If they come downstairs they must go back up as soon as they're done with them.

What? Our basement will have one room as an entertainment center and the other as a playroom. Why not keep he kids toys there instead of having a tornado through the house leading to the bedrooms?
