Poll

Question: How do you feel about PDA?

Options:

Keep it to yourself.

Light displays okay - hand holding, sitting close, etc.

Moderate displays okay - arms around each other, innocent hugs, etc.

More substantial displays okay - simple kisses, more intimate hugs, etc.

Very substantial displays okay - more substantial kisses, cuddling, etc.

Anything goes.

S/O of the waitress fired for the Facebook post regarding a couple showing PDA at her restaurant in the form of kissing at the table.  I'm curious to know how people feel about public displays of affection, at a restaurant table in particular.  What do you find acceptable or unacceptable?  Pick a choice that best fits how you feel.  Elaborate in a post.

1 mom liked this

I operate on the principle of "don't do anything in public you wouldn't do in front of your parents."

Full on making out should not be in public in my opinion but I'm fine with all the other stuff, like kissing, holding hands and stuff like that.

i don't need to see your tongue down anyone's throat, and I really enjoy giving my SO a simple kiss when I feel like it, no matter who is around. Anything beyond that is too much.

In the other post, she made it a point that it was a gay couple engaging in this behavior that was the problem.

I didn't answer in the poll but fall somewhere between "very substantial" and "anything goes".  Frankly, I don't usually notice people who aren't at my table when I am in a restaurant.
