My 11 year old son barged into the bathroom just in time to see me inserting a tampon. He heard the wrapper and thought I was sneaking a candy bar. He normally would knock...he knows better. I'm sure he will never do that again!

Ugh, poor you and poor him.  I don't know who got the worst end of that deal.  Does he at least understand what he saw?

He just had sex ed a couple of weeks ago and complained about having to learn about tampons. I told him that someday he may be a single dad of a daughter and would have to teach her about such things.

My oldest barged into my bathroom just in time to see me change a bloody pad. He started freaking out thinking I was dying or something. The kid was 3 at the time. After his siblings were born and tried to do same as he did he stopped them. Saying mom is dying but don't worry she has a special bandaid so she will live. Guess telling him my pad is a special bandaid and that I'm not dying went a little differently in his head.
