I recently moved back to a town that is close to the town I grew up in. I needed to get in and see a doctor, so I called around until I found a practice accepting new patients. Set the appointment. Just got here a few minutes ago and when I checked in, I asked who I'd be seeing- turns out it's my ex boyfriend. So yay....I get to discuss personal matters with an ex...that I jilted to top it off. I keep thinking I should just leave.

Update: Well, I almost hate to tell you all how it ended. I should probably make up a steamy, sexy, we got-it-on story. Truth is much more anticlimactic. While I was in with the nurse, I explained I was uncomfotable seeing him and she had a female nurse practitioner see me instead. I feel like a jerk though, because it probably hurt his feelings, but I really wasn't comfortable with it. From now on, I'll just make sure to schedule with anyone but him lol.

Oh man. That would be awkward. I'm not sure what I'd do.

I would leave. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Find a new doctor.

The only reason I'm still here is because I've waited three weeks to get in and I couldn't find any other local docs accepting new patients. (Small town problems).

I'd stick it out. If he says something personal about your past he's not very professional.

I have a sick mind. So I could easily turn that into something hot in my mind, even if it was nothing but professional in the exam room.
