Is this a good Mother's Day present? OPINIONS Please!

I was thinking about helping my girls decorate coffee mugs for my mom and my MIL for mother's day.  I was also going to help them make choc. covered strawberries and put some in the mugs and some on a decorative plate to take to each house for grandma.  I just wanted to see if you all thought this would be good instead of the usual flowers or whatever...

Here is a link to the mugs!  I think my girls will really like doing it...they are 2 and 5!  They can dip the strawberries and draw on the mugs.  They can do the entire thing with minimal help from me and it will be extra special for grandma!  We usually do the same old flowers and card so I wanted to get creative this year!
